The Maintenance Technician is responsible for providing high-quality service to CHIP's rental communities, Marymead Park and Hazel Hotel.

This is a full-time, Monday through Friday, non-exempt position.
Pay is $18.
00 – $20.
00 per hour, or dependent upon experience.

Please Apply If You Have The Maintenance Technician should have 2 years of maintenance experience.
If you have a mechanical aptitude and basic maintenance skills.
Strong organizational skills.
If you can perform basic functions on a computer, such as digital time sheets, email, and work order entry.
A proficiency in speaking and writing English.
If you are willing and able to drive own vehicle as needed to service properties in Marysville and Gridley.
If you are willing to respond to emergency calls after regular hours.
A qualified candidate will be able to perform the following tasks The Maintenance Technician prepares vacant units for occupancy in a timely fashion, including cleaning, painting, and completion of any necessary repairs.
Completes work orders, records cost of materials/supplies and hours worked.
Provides excellent customer service to residents.
Handles emergencies during normal work hours as well as being on call after hours.
The Maintenance Technician provides general maintenance to the property as assigned, ensuring work is completed in a timely fashion.
Additional Requirements to Consider Before Applying Must have reliable vehicle, a current valid California Driver's license, and be insurable under the criteria established by CHIP's general liability carrier.
Must provide current proof of insurance at the levels specified by the CHIP travel policy.
