Have a 2010 Mercury Milan HYBRID needing diagnosed and hopefully repaired.
Am hoping to pay a person knowledgeable of this Hybrid model the prevailing wage to fix.
Problem originated with the "SSN" Light coming on requiring the car pull over and usually after as little as 30 seconds, restarted and the trip resumed successfully.
Apparently, NOT the action I would recommend in hindsight.
After this happened maybe a dozen times (as luck would have it some 100+ miles away in 100°+ heat and no shade in sight) it failed to restart as it always had.
At least not to a point that it could be driven on a freeway so I had it towed home where it has sat for the past 6 months.
I would happily sell it at a price adjusted for needed repairs or have it fixed and then sell.
The car is nice and is essentially the Ford Fusion but designed and sold as a small step up from the Fusion and a small step down from the Lincoln MKZ (debatable) and I doubt you will find anything but high marks from Edmunds, CR and most auto-rating sites or happy owner reviews.
That said, HYBRIDS are another bird altogether and while many "Pros" exist.

I found out the hard way that knowledge of them and their repair is not so widely available as non-hybrids.
On the other hand, the mileage is incredible and if one educates oneself to the differences of hybrids, owning one can no doubt be advantageous.

The car, generally, is the model is almost exactly what you see in these manufacturers photos.
The car is clean inside and out with a couple of minor mostly invisible dings.
