What you will do: Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and the plant facility’s equipment Perform repair, troubleshooting or general maintenance work of various types of pumping systems, compressors, generators, reactors, heat exchangers, filters and agitators in operation Perform regular preventive maintenance on various types of production equipment, including but not limited to valves, electric motors, pumps, gear boxes and vehicles, machines and plant facilities Perform electrical installation and repair of switches, outlets, lighting fixtures, VFD’s, motor starters and electric motors Examine parts for defects, such as breakage or excessive wear; replace defective parts and reassembles equipment Perform repairs and fabrication of piping systems utilizing MIG, ARC, and TIG welding techniques Assist with the installation and troubleshooting of PLC controlled automated systems including actuated valves, pumps, flow meters, scales and associated interlocks and safety systems Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and performs scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service Perform simple machinist duties and responsibilities Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions Detect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervision Perform building and grounds maintenance including lighting, HVAC, masonry, plumbing and minor electrical What you will bring: High school diploma/GED Associate’s degree in mechanical, electrical or industrial maintenance is a plus 2+ years of experience in operating processing plant environment such as food processing, chemical processing or pharmaceutical or training equivalent required 2+ years of forklift experience preferred 2+ years of experience/training in making repairs on typical chemical processing equipment Compensation & Benefits: The estimated salary that Indeed, Glassdoor and LinkedIn suggested does not represent Nutrien's compensation structure.

Actual salary and benefits may differ based upon location.
