JOB TITLE: Shop Lead

CONTRIBUTION TO COMPANY MISSION: This position is responsible for the overall organization, production and leadership of the shop and staff.
In representing the company, you need to be courteous and respectful to our customers and staff.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* Set and maintain layout and organization of shop inventory and equipment
* Make daily inspections on all shop equipment and calibrate as necessary
* Operate all equipment as per safety instructions
* Manage production and delivery schedule to meet customer expectations
* Check and approve all finished products before loading and delivery
* Confirm that all products are loaded and secure before driver leaves facility
* Act as the liaison between shop and office personnel
* Provide inventory updates on a daily, weekly and as needed basis
* Act as location trainer for all shop needs
* Ability to fill in for absent shop personnel when needed
* Ability to work with all staff including; shop, delivery, office, sales and management

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITY:
Valid driver's license (Insurable)
Knowledge of products and materials
Safely load, unload and secure all deliveries

Work outside in extreme temperatures (hot or cold)
Walk on uneven surfaces
