Looking for a passionate, hardworking Patient Food Services Supervisor to oversee the dietary staff at Enloe Medical Center.
Previous food service and supervisor experience is required.
This position oversees 14-20 team members daily.
Strong candidates should possess attention to detail, the ability to multitask and direct several team members at once.

Wednesday- Sunday 11:30am- 8pm
Oversees systems and processes to ensure that the strategic and operational objectives of the Dietary Program are accomplished.
Works with diet aids to ensure alternatives to menu as allowed on prescribed diet when patient inquires or needs additional selections.
Evaluates patient meal selection, tray completion, tray delivery, and tray retrieval process daily.
Responsive to patient’s needs at all times.
Resolves patient concerns or complaints immediately and/or reports needed assistance to supervisor as appropriate.
Complies with dietary restrictions on special, modified diets to ensure optimal food preferences are met within guidelines of diet order limitations.
Ensures proper staffing is scheduled and/or available to perform daily activities for the Unit Host Program.
Coordinates and oversees daily and weekly activities/tasks are performed by the dietary staff.
Evaluates, mentors, and disciplines dietary employees, as applicable and according to departmental policy.
Interacts with Nursing to ensure patients’ diet prescriptions are accurate, and patient’s food needs are met.
Submits all required documentation, reports, logs in a timely, professional and complete manner
Exhibits pleasant and cheerful demeanor and maintains a helpful attitude towards employees, physicians, patients, and visitors.
Must pass a federal background check and drug screen.
Education and Experience
High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Previous supervisory experience; strongly preferred
