Position Overview
This position is responsible for the supervision of the Residents during the evening and the nighttime hours ensuring they follow all program rules and policies.
Resident Supervisors help create a safe, supportive and caring home environment in which the residents continue their recovery and provide regularly scheduled opportunities for the resident to grow in their understanding of recovery.
Essential Functions
Ensure residents are complying with rules and regulations including drug testing requirements.
Maintains order and security of residents in the facility.
Assure appointments, wake-up, lights-out and transportation scheduling are organized and met.
Conduct and report accurate counts of all residents assigned to the facility during lights-out.
Accurately reporting the number of residents who are late to the facility.
Submit written reports for any violations, misconduct, reports from employers or resident injuries as established procedures and contract requirements.
Monitor distribution of prescribed and over-the-counter medication, first aid supplies, mail and linen to residents.
Maintain medication log report.
Complete MARS documentation upon receiving medication.
Monitor in-house chores to ensure that residents complete all assigned duties.
Complete full inventory of food, clothing, personal hygiene products and any other items that requires an inventory log.
Processing intakes of clients in accordance with established procedures and contract requirements.
Monitor residents and visitors while at the facility in the common areas.
Collect urine specimens on residents as required in accordance with established procedures.
Assist in meal preparation as needed.
Transporting residents using the company vehicle, as needed.
Respond to resident needs, conflicts and emergency situations in a preventative fashion as to reduce volatile situations and provide crisis intervention, when needed.
Other Duties and Responsibilities
Provide support to management when required.
Support, cooperate, and work with other agency staff in meeting the needs of their program.
Participate in proactive team efforts to achieve departmental and company goals.
Provide leadership to others through example and sharing of knowledge/skills.
Provide excellent customer service to clients, vendors, and suppliers.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Supervisory Responsibility
This position will have supervisory responsibilities of clients and no supervisory responsibilities of other staff members.

Education, Experience, Certifications, and Licenses
High School Diploma or GED
Valid Drivers’ License
Previous working experience with HIPAA/client confidentiality and personal rights
Minimum of one (1) year previous experience working with individuals who are recovering from addictions, and/or previously incarcerated, preferred
CPR/First Aid Certification
