Shift Lead - Swing Shift

As a Shift Lead in the Rice Cakes department you will work with the Team Lead in ensuring operations are safe and efficient while meeting production goals.
Responsibilities include: Communicate with staff daily at the Pre-Shift meeting regarding Schedule, Key Performance Indicators (KPI), Food Safety, or Personal Safety issues.
Maintain a thorough working knowledge of all processes and equipment, including resolving problems.
Ensure proper repair and maintenance of all processing equipment.
Oversee the sanitation of all operating and food contact surface systems.
Maintain mix records/logs on all applications and all production documentation.
Oversee the product flow mixing through packaging.
Utilize computerized inventory system (Business Central).
Monitor and control the quality of all products produced.
Assist in the development of production processes to meet product needs.
Ensure the accurate accounting for production of all products at the end of each day.
One-year food production experience in an operator role.
Ability to set up pack line for variety changes.
Useful knowledge of basic formula calculations.
Intermediate Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook).
Strong written and verbal communication in English.
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Forklift experience a plus.
Bi-Lingual a plus.
