Director of Rehabilitation

*DIRECTOR OF REHABILIATION SERVICE* _IMMEDIATE OPENING_ *JOB SUMMARY: * California Park Rehabilitation Hospital is currently looking for a driven Director of Rehabilitation Services to be a part of a team that is second to none! The right candidate for this position must have the sincere desire to care for our senior residents.
Teamwork and a positive attitude is a must! *QUALIFICATIONS:* Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Physical Therapy or Occupational Therapy or a Master’s Degree in Speech Language Pathology from an accredited college or university.
Current State of California license in professional field.
*EXPERIENCE:* Must have experience as a therapist capacity in a hospital, skilled nursing care facility, or other related medical facility.
Clinical knowledge and skills required for evaluation and treatment of patients.
*OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:* Requires the ability to communicate in English orally and in writing.
Must have the ability to work collaboratively with other disciplines.
Must possess the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
Must possess the ability to deal tactfully with personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel and the general public.
Must be knowledgeable of speech therapy procedures.
Must possess leadership and supervisory ability and the willingness to work harmoniously with and supervise professional and nonprofessional personnel.
*Duties*: - Oversee and manage all aspects of the rehabilitation department - Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations - Provide leadership and guidance to a team of rehabilitation professionals - Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to develop comprehensive treatment plans - Monitor and evaluate the quality of patient care and outcomes - Manage budgets and resources to optimize department performance - Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in rehabilitation services - Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Rehabilitation to lead our dynamic team.
The ideal candidate will possess excellent leadership qualities, strong organizational skills, and a deep understanding of rehabilitation services.
