The position is responsible for monitoring all raw product purchases.
This person will work closely with the Buyers, CEO, and CFO to ensure a safe and reliable source of raw product.
They will provide accurate and timely information from the department allowing management to make informed decisions.
*Job Responsibilities*
* Manage receipt of incoming raw product deliveries including overseeing the daily procedures and operations of the department and grading of product.
* Working with HR will assist with hiring seasonal positions for grading and monitor the performance and schedule of these positions.
Set goals for seasonal employees and provide all necessary tools to perform those positions effectively.
* Oversee the daily input of delivery data.
Review grade sheets, incoming receipts and be responsible for accurate and timely grading of the purchased product.
* Supervise at least one year-round report.
* Create reports that allow management to understand the volume and quality of the incoming product in real time.
* Prepare reports and presentations to keep suppliers apprised on the current state of the industry.
* Work closely with the CEO to provide robust data analysis to assist in supply valuation.
Work with management to produce accurate and informative supplier statements.
* Work closely with the CEO to ensure supplier payments are disbursed timely while tracking all disbursements and payments in real time.
* Prepare monthly physical inventories to provide management with a constant flow of accurate information.
* Compile annual budget reports for the department.
* Prepare annual supply estimates.
* Provide management with ad hoc reports related to supply and inventory valuations.
* Attend industry meetings that sometimes require overnight travel.
Interact with suppliers at industry meetings and events in a professional manner, creating positive relationships.

* Experience working in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
* Strong verbal and written communication skills.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel and Access.
* Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college or university in Ag Business, Business, Economics, Accounting or related field.
* Experience: Five (5) or more years of full-time work experience working with analytics.

Pay: $95,000.
