Directs the implementation of the Company’s safety program to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
Actively monitors the people, equipment, facility and processes for adherence to OSHA guidelines to eliminate industrial accidents.

*Position Requirements:*
*Education/Experience:*
* A minimum of 3 years of experience in the same or a similar Safety role, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
* A minimum of 1 year of leadership experience.
* High School Diploma or Equivalent, required.
* Associate Degree or Bachelor’s Degree, highly preferred, and can be substituted for some of the years of experience required.
* Bilingual (English/Spanish), required.
*Skills/Knowledge/Ability:*
* Knowledge of State and Federal Health/Safety Regulations.
* Ability to learn basic knowledge of chemicals.
* Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Excel/Word/Outlook.
* Ability to communicate with multiple levels of personnel.
* Ability to prioritize and quickly shift priorities.
* Ability to quickly adapt to dynamic company needs and process changes.
* Highly organized with developing analytical skills, detail oriented.
* Must have the ability to travel locally, domestically, and internationally, as needed.
*Authority:*
The Safety Team Leader directly reports to the Director of Human Resources & Org.
Development has no direct reports, however, indirectly supervises activities of the Safety Committee.

This position will travel from various facilities where the outside weather conditions can be very cold and wet and very hot and humid.

Pay: $75,000.
