*POSITION TITLE:* Manager, Feather Falls Mini-Mart
*REPORTS TO:* GM of Enterprises
*SUPERVISES:* All Mini-Mart Employees
*SCHEDULE: * Full-Time; Variable Hours
*SALARY LEVEL: * $50K-$60K annually

*POSITION SUMMARY: *
The Manager shall be responsible for all facets of the day-to-day Mini-Mart operation, including supervision of employees, bookkeeping, advertisement, merchandising, ordering, and inventory.
The Manager shall manage the enterprise at the direction of the Tribal Administrator and Tribal Council.
*SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES: * 1.
Responsible to supervise staff, including work scheduling, orientation, manage/supervise complete training for each new employee, provide ongoing training/staff meetings staff monthly, and supervise shift change coordination, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluation.
2.
Work with the Mooretown Rancheria Human Resources Department to interview and hire staff for the Mini-Mart.
3.
Manage & supervise to coordinate ordering, stocking, merchandising, maintaining of inventory and supplies, and food/beverage preparation and serving.
4.
Responsible for setting and maintaining competitive gas pricing and profit.
5.
Work with the Mooretown Rancheria Fiscal Office to organize and implement bookkeeping procedures for timely reporting to Tribal Council.
6.
Count money and make bank deposits in accordance with established procedures.
7.
Resolve customer complaints, and disputes.
8.
Manage the computer inventory/accounting system; train employees on the system.
9.
Maintain current knowledge of and ensure compliance with all local health standards and codes.
10.
Maintain current knowledge of and ensure compliance with all federal and state rules and regulations concerning the operation of a gas station, and employee Labor Laws.
11.
Supervise and maintain the Mini-Mart/Gas Station appearance to be kept clean at all times, and to ensure the maintenance of equipment, and premises including trash, restrooms, pumps, floor, and shelves are in compliance with the health & safety standards.
12.
Develop and implement marketing strategy for promotions and advertising in coordination with other tribal enterprises when appropriate.
13.
Participate in job-related training sessions and/or workshops, including ABC training for Feather Falls Mini-Mart employees.
14.
Work with the Mooretown Rancheria Human Resources Department to develop, update and implement policies and procedures for Feather Falls Mini-Mart.
15.
Perform other duties as assigned.
*QUALIFICATIONS: * 1.
High school graduate or equivalent.
Associate degree preferred.
2.
*At least 5 years’* experience as a retail/convenience store supervisor/manager.
3.
Must be familiar with basic accounting and bookkeeping procedures.
Excellent mathematical abilities to reconcile sales, cash receipts and maintain books.
4.
Must have good organizational, supervisory, and interpersonal skills and communicate effectively both orally and in writing.
5.
Availability to work extra hours as needed and to be “on call” to handle emergencies or to cover for absent employees.
6.
Ability to accept and implement changes.
7.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit for long periods of time, reach with hands and arms balance, stoop, and kneel.
The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities include close vision and specific hearing abilities include the ability to hear alarms.
