Preschool Classroom Aide

MUST LOVE CHILDREN!!!!! We're looking for a responsible, phenomenal Team member Duties will include: * Supervising with the teacher small groups of children in the classroom and during outdoor play; * Working with Teacher to implement a developmentally appropriate curriculum that meets the needs of all children; * Supporting children as a facilitator of learning throughout the day; * Modeling positive and appropriate language and behavior.
* Assisting Teachers with classroom documentation.
* Communicating child concerns and family needs to Teacher and management * Arriving to your class prepared, on time, and ready to help teach.
* Must be able to work a full or part time shift Monday thru Friday * MUST BE ABLE TO MULTI-TASK * Set-up and oversee learning centers.
* Maintain the cleanliness of classroom space.
* Prepare materials and supplies; * Assist children with bathroom needs - this includes diapering and helping with clothing * Leading circle time, story time, and music sessions.
Team Participation * Actively participate in team planning and training Desirable Qualifications * Caring, nurturing provider * Team player – able to work as part of a teaching team * Able to lift up to 30 lbs.
REQUIREMENTS Job Requirements * ECE units a plus but not necessary * Current vaccination / TB screening * CPR / First Aid certification; (Current) * Live scan clearance (Current) * Mandated Reporter training completed (Current) * Authorization to work in the US Current Verification of job requirements prior to job offer BENEFITS paid holiday (full time only) and sick time Pay is commensurate with education and experience.
